Your privacy choices
The short version
- You can get a copy of your data, correct it, delete it or stop our emails, for free.
- Use the form below: we email you a link to confirm, and confirmed deletions run automatically.
- No account or ID document needed. We only check that you control the email address.
- We never sell your data. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt-out.
- You can complain to a data protection authority at any time.
Ask for a copy or a deletion
Enter the email address you used with DupeEats: for the newsletter, a dupe or photo you sent, a report, or an earlier request. Then choose what you want. We email you a link to confirm, and nothing happens until you click it.

How we check it’s you
DupeEats has no accounts, so the email address is how we know it’s you. We send a single-use confirmation link to the address you entered and do nothing until it is clicked. If it isn’t clicked within 48 hours, the request is deleted. We never ask for ID documents or more data than we already have.
Votes, ratings and quiz answers are tied only to a random device ID, not to a person, so we can’t verify who they belong to. You control them yourself from your browser.
How long it takes
- Copy of your data: emailed as soon as you confirm.
- Deletion: carried out automatically within 72 hours of your confirmation. We email you when it’s done.
- Anything else: an answer within one month (45 days under US state laws). If a request is complex we may need more time, and we’ll tell you why before the first deadline.

Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data and of targeted advertising, for that browser, with no form to fill in. Today there is nothing to switch off, because we don’t sell or share your data. Learn more about GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We have never sold personal information for money, and we never rent out or give away our email list. We don’t share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Using any of your privacy rights never changes how DupeEats works for you.
Authorized agents
If you live in a US state that allows it, someone else can make a request for you. The agent should write to dupeeats@gmail.com with your signed permission, or a power of attorney. To protect you, we’ll still send the confirmation link to your own email address, and act only once it is clicked.
A parent or guardian who thinks their child under 16 has sent us something can write to dupeeats@gmail.com and we’ll delete it.
If we say no
If we can’t do what you asked, we’ll tell you why. You can reply with the word “Appeal” within 60 days, and a person will review your request and answer within 45 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority, or in the US to your state attorney general. Our Privacy policy lists where.
